PAST AND PRESENT

TYTEX A/S was founded in 1971 by the Thygesen family as a traditional textile manufacturer. In the course of the next decade, however, the focus turned to the highly specialised field of medical textiles.

The family's vision, their belief in the future and their own hard work and commitment have grown the company into an international healthcare group employing more than 500 people in 7 countries: Denmark, Ireland, the United States, Germany, Slovakia, Thailand and Japan.

Our geographic footprint also includes South America, South Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East.

TYTEX GROUP is a member of the Swiss Vernal Group and enjoys a close co-operation with our sister company, Norafin, which provides customised solutions based on non-woven technologies
